Senior Day

I never got to post about Blake's senior day. Fortunately, it turned out to be a gorgeous day! They had bad luck with weather this year. Cindy and Dave were able to come up, which is always so fun. My sisters and brother-in-law came too. I feel so lucky that I have gotten to see so much of Blake's baseball career at BYU (4 of his 5 years). It stinks that he had to get surgery last year, but he always has had such a positive attitude about it all. I know he will continue to keep baseball a part of his life for many years to come. Way to go Blake!

BUN IN THE OVEN!

We are going to have a baby!!! We seriously couldn't be happier. I am currently 12 weeks, but have known since I was 6 weeks. It has been so hard not telling our families or friends. It is seriously so exciting and such a relief to finally tell people. Blake and I are ecstatic for this little baby to come on December 6!
I had to go to urgent care because I had been feeling sick and they had asked if there was a chance that I could be pregnant. I totally didn't think so, however there was a slight possibility, so they ran the test while I was there to check. The doctor came back and informed that he had some good news and bad news (instant butterflies in my stomach). The bad news was that I really was sick, but the good news was that I was pregnant. I was in complete shock (a happy shock). I waited a bit to tell Blake so that I could do it in a cute way.
I went to this bakery called "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and got a mini white chocolate raspberry bundt cake and I had a Bun In The Oven shirt made. That night I told him I had a surprise for him. I handed him the cake and this poem:
Here is a "BUN"dt cake just for you,
In honor of our family becoming more than just two!
Yup, you guessed it (I promise I'm not faking),
We have our own little BUN IN THE OVEN baking!
After he read the poem I unzipped my hoodie so he could see my Bun In The Oven shirt.
We are two happy people :)

We are planning on finding out the gender in 3 weeks or so, once we move back to California. More updates to follow...

CONGRATS JAMIE!!!!

I have been so bad at blogging lately! I am going to try and catch up on some overdue posts these next couple of weeks. My sister graduated from UVU a few weeks ago. She looked AMAZING! I am so proud of her! CONGRATULATIONS JAMIE!

Disney Time!

A few months ago I was able to go on an awesome Disneyland trip with Jen and Kristin. We had a blast! We taught half a day on Thursday then headed down. We spent most of Friday at Disneyland and most of Saturday at California Adventure. We lucked out because we got to stay at my parents, my mom sent us with snacks, and Jens cousin got us in for FREE both days because she works there. Basically the only cost was gas and some food (so amazing). I had not done an all day Disneyland trip in years! My feet were dead by the end of day one, but I had forgotten how much fun those days can be! I feel honored that I got to be there for Kristin's first trip to Disneyland. I absolutely love Jen and Kristin! I seriously lucked out with getting to work with such wonderful people that I have so much in common with. I am going to be so sad to say good bye to them on Thursday.
