Opinions Please

I've been consumed lately by registering for baby gear. I am kinda crazy and spend at least thirty minutes to an hour researching every single product I am interested in. I guess I am just so paranoid with everything because I want the safest product that looks the cutest and is for the best price. My biggest dilemma lately is what travel system to get. According to what I've researched Chicco and Graco are the safest and most reasonably priced. I am kind of leaning towards Chicco, mainly because I like the solid colors over patterns. However, Graco isn't completely eliminated if any moms out there can give me different insight.

I need all you faithful blog followers out there to give me your insight into the three Chicco finalists. They are all the same stroller and car seat just with different color palettes. Keep in mind that ideally I could use this for the next couple kids, so gender neutrality is important. Please give me your input on which color you think looks best and would be the most gender neutral... THANKS!

Navy Blue, Grey, White

Red, Grey, White

Green, Black, White

  1. The blue is great because it may not show as much dirt. The green is a nice color. The red may be easier to spot in public, but if you picked the blue you could put on some defining item that would help you to notice yours quickly.I'd go blue!

  2. I'm also a fan of piddle pads to keep your car seat stroller bouncer and swing clean. especially during travel from blow outs can I say that in my comment? We brought two of them, one for home and one while using the car seat or stroller. If we traveled we brought both with us. Here is a link, there are two styles, here is one of them: http://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infant-Deluxe-Piddle-Black/dp/B004U7OQWW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1314742164&sr=8-2

  3. I like the blue or green best. We used our travel system for three kids and by the third, you could tell. The blue will hide a lot and the green is pretty neutral. As for gender neutrality, we had three girls and most of the products we purchased were blues and greens. When you do have a girl, the awesomely huge bow on her head and sweet pink blankets will more than guarantee that people will recognize her for the girl that she is.

  4. Wow, tuff choice. I actually like all 3 of them. I could tell you right now which one my Mom and Carly would choose :) I have to say I like the blue because of it hiding dirt probably the best. But, really all three of them will probably not be too bad. I am pretty positive Sara and Stanford bought the green one. You could ask them how they liked it. I happen to really like the red one too. Maybe because I just like red. I am not much help because I think I would be having a hard time too. Probably the blue....but I don't know.....

  5. We have the green one and we did A TON of research to figure out what to buy. I really like chicco but the fabric on the carseat gets hot pretty easily. It's not bad in the winter but this summer has been tough. Maggie used to sweat a ton in it and Henry sweats the minute we put him in it(and of course doesn't like it). We used the stroller itself with Maggie but it's a little bulky so we haven't even gotten it out of the garage yet for Henry. Nice part is it folds up SUPER easy and is easy to get in and out of the car. I've really liked having it be green. It was good for Maggie and Henry. Hope that was helpful. Stanford could probably give you more input since he is home with the kids all day and uses it more than I do. --Sara
